I thank and praise you, O God of my fathers: You have given me
wisdom and power, you have made known to me what we asked of you,
you have made known to us the dream of the king."
Read the entire chapter 2 and answer the following
questions:
To whom does Nebuchadnezzar turn when he has
had a bad night?
What does he demand of them?
Why is Nebuchadnezzar furious?
What does Daniel offer to do for the king?
In such a time of crisis, what does Daniel do?
God responds to their prayers; how does Daniel
respond in turn?
Nebuchadnezzar's demand is impossible, yet Daniel
is able to address the situation in spite of the
overwhelming odds. Where else do we find examples of
God working through impossible situations? Are we able
to draw any insight into the character of God from such
incidents?
What is your reaction when faced with a situation
which is completely and utterly impossible?
