but if you return to Me and keep My commandments and do them, though those of you who have been scattered were in the most remote part of the heavens, I will gather them from there and will bring them to the place where I have chosen to cause My name to dwell.'

Read the   Book of Nehemiah   and then answer the following questions:

  1. Who is Nehemiah?
  2. How much time has elapsed since Ezra came to Jerusalem?
  3. Approximately, how many years bridge Nehemiah's return and the time of Christ?
  4. What is Nehemiah's mission?
  5. What sin is he tempted with?
  6. What feasts are celebrated in the book of Nehemiah?
  7. Reflecting on the prevalent sins of the people, what are key sins that we observe before the exile? What are key sins after the exile?
  8. Consider Nehemiah's contribution to Jerusalem. Do you believe that he was a man of God? What is it that convinces? Include references to 13:25 in your answer.
