You believe at Last!

Read: John 16:16-33

1. In verses 16 to 22, Jesus tries to prepare the disciples for what is about to happen. Give a five-point summary of the most significant events that are about to take place in the ministry of Jesus and how you think the disciples (or you yourself) would feel during these times.



2. What time does Jesus refer to when he says "in that day" (v. 23). What will have happened in that time so that the disciples will not ask Jesus about these things?



3. How is our joy made "complete" when we ask for and receive anything is Jesus' name (v. 23-24)? What does "anything" mean?

5. What is it that makes Jesus state that the disciples "believe at last", even though he knows that they are about to desert him?
