How Did You Fill Your Box?When you filled your box, did you set out, box in hand with its pre-existing size and shape, going from place to place, person to person, determined to fill your box? And when, after an exhaustive period of search and selection, gleefully realizing after closing its lid that it was filled to capacity, did you exclaim, "This is God"? Or, did you depart, with tools of trade, choose that which you were seeking, and then commence (implementing precise, calculated calibrations) to fashion your box, a box like no other box? And did you, the craftsman, after closing your box proudly exclaim, "This is God"? Or, were you the one to gather the boxes already filled by others, and having shook them and discarded those which were flawed, but never having sifted through their contents, made your selection and with considerable apprehension, exclaimed, "This is God"? Or, did you hold out your empty hands, and with much fear and trepidation, faithfully exclaim, "This is my box God, left open for your fullness". Rick DeVrye |
